Rental Terms & Conditions (self pick up/return basis)

 

Payment

  • A 50% deposit of the rental fee is required to confirm your booking. Rental services are not reserved until cleared funds have been received.

  • The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the rental date. The security deposit of 60% can also be paid at this time or alternatively on the day in cash.

  • Ibiza Candle Shop accepts payment by bank transfer or cash. 

 

Cancellation/Refund

  • If cancellation by either party is more than 1 month before the scheduled service, the rental fee and deposit will be returned in full. 

  • Any cancellation by the Renter with less than 3 weeks prior to the event, 50% of the rental fee and the security deposit (if applicable) will be refunded to the Renter. 

  • Any cancellation by the Renter with less than 2 weeks prior to the event, 100% of the rental fee is non-refundable. If a security deposit has been paid this will be refunded.

 

Pick up / drop off 

  • Collection of the rented items is available at the date, time and place specified in the Rental Agreement. You will be asked to inspect all of the items upon delivery. Following a satisfactory inspection, the Renter accepts the items on an “as is” basis. 

* If there are any material damages or defects to the rented items that you have rented, at the time of delivery & upon your inspection, you must immediately notify the representative of Ibiza Candle Shop, so that he/she may make arrangements to replace the damaged or defective item(s).  If Ibiza Candle Shop is unable to replace the damaged rented item(s) prior to your event you will be entitled to a full refund for the item(s).

 

  • The items must be returned at the date, time and place specified in the Rental Agreement and in the same condition as when they were received by the Renter. You must use the same containers and packaging for the items that were provided to you at the time of the collection of the items.

* Regarding damage to items, Ibiza Candle Shop accepts there may be normal some wear and tear (i.e. melts, dents, small chips) and as long as these are capable of repair, the Renter will not be obliged to compensate Ibiza Candle Shop further. However, if the items are lost or damaged beyond repair, the Renter must pay Ibiza Candle Shop the new replacement retail cost of the items. Ibiza Candle Shop will make the final decision on whether damage is capable of repair or not.

NOTE: Certain rental items can be delivered, set-up, dissembled and picked up by our crew only. Please consult with our sales representative for more information.

 

Responsibilities

The Renter must:

  • keep the items in proper condition;

  • never leave the items under direct sunlight or near heaters;

  • follow the Ibiza Candle Shop instructions / recommendations on the items’ care and usage;

  • transport and store the items safely and securely and protected from theft, seizure, loss or damage;

  • not alter, tamper, damage or repair the items without our written consent;

  • not remove any label, identifying mark or safety instruction from the items;

  • allow the representative of Ibiza Candle Shop at any time during the Hire Period, to enter the premises where the items are stored to inspect the items;

  • notify Ibiza Candle Shop immediately if there is any loss or damage.

 

Additional Charges

If any charges are incurred during the event, an additional invoice will be forwarded to the Renter.

Rental Terms & Conditions (with delivery/set up/dismantle/pick up service included)

 

Payment

  • The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the rental date. The security deposit of 20% can also be paid at this time or alternatively on the day in cash.

  • Ibiza Candle Shop accepts payment by bank transfer or cash. 

  • Delivery, set up & collection charges apply and are dependent on your event venue location & timings.

  • If any charges are incurred during the event, an additional invoice will be forwarded to the Renter.

Delivery, set up & collection 

  • Ibiza Candle Shop will deliver and set up the rented items at the date, time and place specified in the Rental Agreement.  You will be asked to inspect all of the items upon delivery. Following a satisfactory inspection, you will accept the items on an “as is” basis.* 

* If there are any material damages or defects to the rented items that you have rented, at the time of delivery & upon your inspection, you must immediately notify the representative of Ibiza Candle Shop, so that he/she may make arrangements to replace the damaged or defective item(s).  If Ibiza Candle Shop is unable to replace the damaged rented item(s) prior to your event you will be entitled to a full refund for the item(s).

 

  • Providing all rented items are in as good condition (other than fair wear and tear) as when they were received by the Renter, the items are to be dismantled and collected by Ibiza Candle Shop at the date, time and place specified in the Rental Agreement.

 

  • Ibiza Candle Shop will collect all items from the venue on the morning (6:00-10:00 am) after your event and therefore all items must be available for collection.**
